Being a real estate agent presents new challenges every day. You’re busy managing any number of transactions at once. At the same time, you want to know your clients are working with someone you trust to have their best interest at heart and help them get into a home as seamlessly as possible.
In order to manage all of this, it’s necessary to work with a lender who will work to build that relationship and trust over time. Today we’ll talk about the people who make up one of these relationships and how Rocket ProSM can help! We spoke with Angel Ayala at Real Living® Casa Fina Realty about his experience.
Facilitating Connections
Real estate agents who work with Rocket Pro are given access to a dedicated relationship manager who serves as a liaison to the agent for anything they might need to help the clients move forward in the process. Ayala works with his relationship manager, Peter.
“Working with Peter is great,” he says. “He’s super helpful and always calls every week just to check in and see if I need anything. If I need something on the fly, he’s my go-to and he gets it done really quickly.”
Having that communication helps Ayala overcome roadblocks and helps his clients’ progress continue.
“If I’m having a hard time getting a hold of a banker because either they’re out of the office or maybe they’re doing their phone time, he’ll get me somebody else. He really helps out.”
Moving Through The Process
Ayala also has developed a strong relationship over time with Michael, a mortgage banker at Rocket Mortgage®. He describes his working rapport with Michael as amazing and says that their communication helped him grow as an agent.
“Having that knowledge helps me in my day-to-day (interactions). I can answer a lot of questions and streamline the process for my buyers as well,” Ayala says. “Sometimes it helps to be able to save the constant back-and-forth between a mortgage broker and an agent.”
This visibility into the process has helped Ayala better prepare his clients for the mortgage process so that they’ll be ready, even in the most competitive market.
“I like to have the conversation with the client about what they’ll need, whether it’s taxes and income verification, bank statements and I’ll kind of prep them for that,” he says. “Having them be ready to submit everything right away so we can get that Verified Approval is very important.”
Ayala says one of the things he really likes about Rocket Mortgage is that they keep the process constantly moving forward. This enables him to maintain the excitement with his clients right up through the time they get their keys.
“They have the process down, and having multiple people working on the file at once and really moving people through the proper channels is very helpful,” he says.
He also appreciates the multiple loan options for clients and the ability to find the program that’s going to be most affordable given their situation.
